Taken on the 10,064 ft. peak of Mt San Antonio (Mt. Baldy). The battered nature of the prayer flags seemed consistent with the idea that they spread blessings on the winds.

The priest at the Cathedral of St Philip went through gallons of holy water, blessing some of the 60,000 runners.
See the black buckets? Someone from the church would take the smaller bucket inside, come back with it full, and dump the water into the larger bucket. The priest would refill his silver bowl from the large bucket. This went on for three hours.
