I really want to Thank God for all his Blessings~
Whenever I feel down, sad, unhappy, hateful against myself e.t.c, I open up this jar in which I’ve put a bunch of notes.
On these notes I’ve written down all my blessings in life.
People, things, surroundings and so on, that I am very happy to have in my life, things that can be easy to forget when your not feeling your best!
This is actually something I would advice you to try aswell!
Write down what you are happy to see everyday, people you love, things you feel lucky to have achieved, things you’re proud of yourself for, what you’re good at, traits/features you like about yourself.. And be selfish when trying to find these things you like about yourself! Nothing is too little or too much.
It’s a great way to remind yourself of all the things you’re thankful for in your life, and remember that you have so much more to be happy about than you think!
It is way better to appreciate what you have, than to be unhappy about what you don’t.💜

The FP Jetty has many memorial plaques on the rocks, as well as on benches. Some are simple, some contain photos and poignant words.
Happy Monochrome Monday
Awake and see God's salute...
Close your eyes and breath deeply.
Feel his tender caress over your face...
Open your eyes, again.
Now awake knowing that you have nurtured your soul with the light...
You are now aware, full of gratitude.
Refresh your day!... You are alive!!!
There are no mistakes, no coincidences. All events are blessings given to us to learn from.

I am trying really hard to count my blessings these days. I have had a challenging job change due to a merger and my whole life has been turned upside down. I will keep on plugging, though
on a street in Varanasi.
PS. A number of people pointed what could have been done better. And I agree with them. And I like this photo anyway!

It was very refreshing to wake up on a
Saturday moring to find a fresh sprinkling of snow.
Have a great weekend!
Taken on the morning of August 27. Though it had not rained for long and plants had appeared to be lacking water, I was surprised to find that rice plant had dewdrops on their leaves. I could feel vital energies of nature
What a Christmas that was! Here in the south of the UK we have had pretty much four days of fog over the festive period, unheard of conditions and a blessing for us woodland photographers. I have the most supportive of partners and when I looked out of my window on Christmas morning and espied the fog she saw the excitement in my eyes and like a dog owner recognizing the muddy puddle was pure unadulterated joy she uttered the words "go on then". I was out the door faster than a knife fight in a telephone box and whipped over to my local woodland. I stopped on the way to finally get a shot of a stand of Beech trees I had been after for a couple of years and finally had the right light and conditions to make it work. I only spent an hour in the woods as I felt it would be taking the mickey to stay more than that and was back home in time to carve the ham for our traditional Christmas morning breakfast of ham and eggs. The next day I was amazed to see that the fog hadn't shifted at all and was, if anything, thicker than yesterday. I was feeling the effects of all the food I had eaten the day before and it took me a while to gather the motivation to grab the gear and head out again. This time I decided to head further afield and drove the 30 miles to a woodland near to Lyme Regis which is full of the most sinister looking beeches. I rocked up about midday and was surprised to see loads of cars in the car park. A popular local spot for dog walkers it turned out! I spent a good few hours wandering among the slumbering giants, occasionally being interrupted by a friendly dog and its accompanying curious owners. A few were confused as to why I would be attempting to photograph wildlife in such poor conditions and its always amusing when I correct their assumption by declaring its the trees I am after. The look of confusion that crosses their faces makes me inwardly chuckle every time. However once I pull out my phone and show them a couple of previous images the penny drops.
I was particularly pleased with this image as the sun was trying to burn through the fog at this point adding a warm glow to the light streming in from the left. I also like the two flanking trees being more typically straight, highlighting just how gnarly their companion is between them.
The following day I paid a return visit to Dartmoors famous Wistmans wood and once again had a beautifully foggy day among the twisted little oaks and boulders.
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and I hope 2025 brings you much joy and success!
Toodles.
