A friend of mine is currently in the hospital, fighting for his life. If you have any extra room in your prayer or blessing lists, or just a hopeful thought to send his way, it would be appreciated.

I know, I know…over load on dragonfly’s but I think I would rather do this than posting one every day. I am learning a lot about shooting these guys. I make goals for every time I go out. And I hope I am getting better. Does anyone know if these guys are around all summer or…when they kind of go away? It has been fun and I think I get more exercise moving reeeeeal slow than I do walking my trail. Tee hee.

It has been a long time since I've seen one of these.
Last time I photographed one was in 2021 when we needed rain badly.
I wondered then if the moth would bless us with rain and it did.
Now I'd like to ask the Blessing Moth to ease up on the rain, storms, and humidity.
However, I am enjoying finding extremely interesting fungi that the rain and humid weather brings.
Yule Blessings to all my flickr friends, contacts and those who stumble across my photos.
I have been suffering flu but there will be snowy photos to come soon.
Many times, when I see an artist playing a statue, I wonder how they can be so realistic.
However, when I saw this take in B&W, I had the opposite thought. How can this huge statue (more than 20 meters) seems to be an artist?
Dear friends, I send you my blessings for the new year, Bes ~
"I release all things from the past year that has caused any negative attachment.
I prepare and welcome new changes, new lessons and new adventures.
I welcome new opportunities to grow emotionally, mentally and spiritually."
- The Buddha Way
My the blessings and spirit of the season touch your heart and open it to love, charity, hope and forgiveness. Peace be with you!
Yes !! I will say it again, and again ! I feel that all humans entering/ being in this Park, are blessed! Because it is just a very special energy that surrounds our bodies and spirits : everyone in there is smiling and has a bright joyful expression on his/her face!! Big ones and little ones!!
I have personally been there so many times!! Everytime I enter , it feels like I enter an open Cathedral!! A magical soothing energy envelopes my body! This last time of 2014 it was rather cold, and often rainy…I was so disheartened at the beginning…BUT: when the time came for me to leave-- after 5 hours of non-stop walking and shooting—I just would not decide to go to the exit, did NOT want to leave, to be separated again from my blissful , colourful, Spring Park of Keukenhof!!!
I thank from the bottom oh my heart the Universe/God, and all the talented Dutch gardeners and landscape architects that create those miracles every Spring in there!
God's Blessings to the victims, their families and friends, here in the U.S. and around the world. Please Lord, give us the strength
to stop the violence. Let us learn love, not hate, peace not war.
Amen.

It is a blessing whether spring is in your dream or in the air.
Usually, the morning shoot is over once the sun hits the far cliffs. The contrast is so large that even HDR has a hard time coping with the dynamic range. Today was no different. The sun hit the far cliffs on the horizon and even though I was bracketing with +-4 f stops, I was not getting anything that was going to be usuable. I started to pack up while I practiced speaking Canadian to the crazy guy to my right when suddenly this layer of clouds swept over and blocked the sun. We both stopped talking and started shooting, shaking our heads in amazement at our good luck!

Well yes that's the question
When Aiko suggests that we need a break and something nice to eat, he stops
Licks his mouth while watching me
He makes sure that I'm seeing him
Whenever he sees a picnic table like this, he jumps upon it, ready for omnoms
So mind you, all you picnic people out there, that puts your food straight on the table.....
There are dirty paws on the table
Spiders you can't see
Lots of other stuff you don't even want to think of is there too
Yup, down the hatch
So here he is on the table
I'm obviously too slow to understand him, or respond
So he is now begging for treats
And in my head he is praying too
You know that it's important that you think positive when you're looking at the stuff you are about to eat or drink?
That's the same as giving it a blessing
Your body will respond with joy and say Yippi; I'm going to have this lovely piece of food and devour it with good conscience
You are giving the food a good energy by thinking positive and we need good energy when we are eating and drinking
We need a good atmosphere both outside our body
And inside
It's pretty logic really
And you need to focus
Don't surfe too much on social media or deep dive into newspapers and books when you are eating
You eat way too much when you do that, because you aren't aware of your body's signals
We really don't need much, if you dare thinking about it
And, yes
Positive thinking works for chocolate too
I have tested this many times
lol
If you are having bad conscience because you are thinking that you don't deserve it, or it's not healty enough for you or whatever, you will add negative thoughts and negative energy to what you are about to eat
All the good stuff that is inside your food is wasted by this kind of thinking
So quit that
Think positive even here
It's so important
Call it bless the food if you want
I call it thinking positive
"This is good for me"
Enjoy your next meal with this in your mind if you want, I can guarantee that you'll feel better and maybe you don't even feel for taking more on your plate

The Light Blessing (6843)

I had been trying to get to Patriarch Grove, at the end of a 12-mile dirt road way up in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, for several years. Every year, something would happen. Trees would topple. Too much snow. Lightning storm. On this day, I thought my efforts would again be scuttled. A large big rig had overturned in Highway 168. A motorist told me to turn back. I kept going. I pulled up to the accident. A policeman waved me through. Whewww! That was that! This photo was the last photo of the evening. Midway through, a truck pulled up and saw me on the dirt road with my flashlight and pulled up. "You okay?" I said I was. "Okay, just makin' sure. God Bless!" I thought his headlights ruined my photo. Turned out they blessed them. They looked pretty good. I was going to photograph the trees as silhouettes, and, well, he illuminated them for me instead. The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is located in the White Mountains by Owens Valley. At over 10,500 ft (3200m) in elevation, the sky is clearer, the stars more visceral, and my smile much larger. The bristlecone pines are some of the oldest living things on the planet, some growing before Buddha or George Burns walked the earth. This time, I did not use the ProtoMachines to light anything, letting the universe do the lighting for the rest.

On the passed May holiday,It was taken in Tanzhe temple, one of the most famous, Beijing China. Bonzes bless people with hanging these colorful umbrellas.
Taken in Hardiwar india. Hardiwar is one of the foremost religious cities in India. It is situated in the foothills of the Himalaya mountain range. The Ganges flows through the city and every evening there is a religious ceremony on the banks of the Ganges. The picture shows a man being blessed but i love the expression on the face of the woman in the background.
