Red, White and oh so Blue~
As I look at my photos…this one just fit for tonight. Taken at the train station but having so many meanings wrapped up in a phrase on that door. Those that know me know that I am know waiting for the safe return of my love. The countdown has begun and is long but time does not stop. We keep standing at that station, listening for ring of Joy. My hugs and kisses to my love. I will be waiting right here for when I see you again.
Have a great night my friends~Andrea

This is my favorite veggie in the world!!
It is called "fu tsai" in Mandarin, and "fok tsuoi" in Hakka. And in English that would be "Blessing Veggie."
It grows in a flooded pond. And to eat it, you stir fry it with ginger. YUMMY!!
Day 177/365: Blessings
The day I took this was a truly fantastic day, and this gorgeous sunset was just the cherry on top. I had nothing to do, no photo sessions, no work...nothing. We drove to Madison because my love is having a book published and we were finalizing details on that. I was able to do some shopping I haven't been able to do in months, relax at the park with my babies (dogs), have a great meal, do some antiquing, and then the remainder of our ride home. Everything was so simple, yet perfect. I love days like this.
This necklace represents so many blessings in my life.....my faith in God, my loving husband, and my three beautiful children.
This photograph is edited with PTM's Sunny Days plus a vintage frame was added.
Blessing of the foundations of a new six floor apartment building in Chiang Mai Thailand by Brahmin priest. Buddhism exists side-by-side with, and to some extent intermingles with, pre-Buddhist animism and Brahman practices. Most Thais, whether or not they profess to be Buddhists, believe in a rich supernatural world. When ill, or at other times of crisis, or to seek supernatural help, Thais may enlist the aid of a practitioner who is believed to be able to propitiate or obtain help from various spirits. Local spirits are believed to inhabit a variety of objects, and shrines to them may be found in houses, businesses in Buddhist temples, along roads, and in forests. Blessing ceremonies to ward off evil spirits and bad luck are carried out both by Buddhist monks and Brahmins.
The Blessing of the Animals service recognizes that the animals with whom
we share this planet are important to us, to God, and we are blessed by their
presence in our lives.
