Dharma gets blessed as part of the clebration of St. Francis of Assisi (wonder if I spelled that right?). She certainly behaved better than most of the other pets there :)

I met blessing on our hike today at Silver River State Park in Florida. He means a lot to his owner and I enjoyed learning how much he has meant to her. If you view the larger size you can see how beautiful his eyes are.

The 2013 Festival of Faiths opened with an interfaith service, A Call to Compassion at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, Kentucky on May 14, 2013.

I went for my walk yesterday and lets just say most of the time I just sat at the lake watching these guys fly so fast all around me. My walk took 5 times longer last night. I have never seen so many before. If there is a secret hour in which they are mainly calm and landed please fill me in....because I know nothing about them. I was there at 7:30 last night and they were still going like mad. It made me tired just watching.lol Anyway, I liked this one because it landed on the flower~ Have a great Friday, Andrea

I am taking my dear little Sylvester to be blessed on Sunday, I love him so. Not a member of this church, but I love and respect their kindness and compassionate ways.
I try to be grateful for the abundance of the blessings that I have, for the journey that I'm on and to relish each day as a gift.

Many people still came by to mourn the loss of Pope John Paul II - and I though that his silhouette against the sky, giving his last blessing to all of us against the sun would be a nice tribute.
