While I was teaching in the village, I lived with the headmaster of the school and his family. One of the newer teachers had immigrated from the French-speaking country of Togo, and he used to come by often with his little niece Bless, so that she could learn English and make some new friends- we often drew together. one of her favorite things to do was look through my American magazines.

La police et les pompiers le font libérer par un spécialiste qui coupe
le filet.
Le phoque repart ensuite vers le large.
A seal tangled in a fishing net runs aground on the beach.
Police and firefighters release him by a specialist who cut the net.
The seal then goes offshore.

Bless Smokey's heart...the first day, she hissed and went into my Mom's bedroom, and that was that!...2nd day, she came out some and did part of her normal routine....still hissing at little Jessie!
3rd day, today, she has spent the day out in the house and even went outside for her morning sunshine. ..Both of them got on the back of the couch and this is the expression on Smokey's face...LOL...
They aren't pals, yet, but they will be, I'm sure!
