They are used to bless the surrounding countryside and for other purposes.The five colors represent the elements, and the Five Pure Lights and are arranged from left to right in specific order: blue, white, red, green, and then yellow. Different elements are associated with different colors for specific traditions, purposes and sadhana. Blue symbolizes sky/space, white symbolizes air/wind, red symbolizes fire, green symbolizes water, and yellow symbolizes earth. According to Traditional Tibetan medicine, health and harmony are produced through the balance of the five elements.

On Sunday, Aug.18, 2019, Bishop Walkowiak joined Holy Trinity Parish in Comstock Park for Mass and to bless the church's new bell tower and bells.
The Prayer of Blessing for Bells reads, “May their voice direct our hearts toward you and prompt us to come gladly to this church, there to experience the presence of Christ, listen to your word, offer you our prayers, and both in joy and in sorrow be friends to one another.”
The history of Holy Trinity’s church bells date to 1863 when the original bell, the middle bell in the present trio, was cast by J.G. Stuckstede & Brothers in St. Louis, Missouri. The two new bronze bells were cast by the Verdin Bell Company of Cincinnati, Ohio in April 2019.
The parish is grateful to the Wahlfield family. The refurbished middle bell, the lower bell and the bell tower were donated by Fritz Jr. and Liz Wahlfield. Fritz Jr.’s vision was inspired by a sign at Holy Trinity Church which reads, “Do something incredible for your parish.” The upper bell was donated by the families of Fritz III and Bryan and Katelynn Wahlfield. A dedication plaque is located at the new bell tower.
The original, refurbished bell is dedicated to Christ Crucified and Mary while the two new bells are dedicated to St. Joseph and St. Anne. Copies of the dedication seals that are on the two new bells also were blessed by Bishop Walkowiak for the family members. Pat Dochenetz and his wife, from the Verdin Company also participated in the celebration.

Religious icon for a living room in Palo Verde. The cross was hand forged with wrought iron. The wall was faux finished with a 3 color wash. Then the cross was bordered with the deepest shade of tan.
