No, not those kind of bleeding hearts - the flower kind. Specifically, a nice example found at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum back in May.
Asian Bleeding-heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis) is a beautiful plant that is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade. Prefers moist soils in part shade. Intolerant of wet soils in winter and dry soils in summer. The foliage usually goes dormant by mid-summer. Formerly known as Dicentra spectabilis.
