Complete with raindrops captured in my garden this morning.

First conceptual photography i have ever done. I waited and waited for that little droplet to fall but it never did. The red poster colour i use was a little too thick i guess.

Bleeding Hearts in the backyard

One week ago this plant was only 3 or 4 inches tall, today it is not only tall, but blossoming.

The Bleeding Hearts that we planted in the garden at the front of the house finally provided us with blossoms this year. I wanted a image to remember this by and as I got down to ground level I noticed the wonderful back light being provided by the setting sun. I decided to take full advantage of the situation and enhanced it a bit to get this dramatic image.

I think you've all heard that polaroid is stopping its film production this year. ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hypuKMBTWl0-MwyZgWCT-M9OQuywD...

i don't know if this will change anything, but at least we can beg fuji to continue the production of the polaroid instant film:

Dainty hearts hanging all in a row, these are one of my favorite flowers in our garden...

This was a last minute order from a bride who couldn't find anyone in the Portland area to make her an armadillo cake. I am a HUGE fan of the armadillo cake so I happily took no the project. The bride was so excited to see the cake she said "HOLY SH*T!! that is AMAZING!!!" when I brought it in and proceeded to take mass amounts of photos on her phone. Now that is what I call a good reaction :-D

We have a small bleeding heart plant in our flower bed, surrounded by the hosta. I caught these few, peeking up at me this weekend, saying "Please save me from these hostas!"

It's been quite a few years since I've seen the Bleeding Hearts so when I saw these I was really surprised.. These are small but I was happy to see them...

Spring must be here, the Bleeding Hearts are blooming!

Dicentra spectabilis also known as Venus's car, bleeding heart, Dutchman's trousers, or lyre flower

Tiny bleeding hearts when they were just beginning to bloom. Little did I know the plant would practically overtake that part of the garden!
