This little back alley in Bedminster, Bristol looks like a great place for some of the elaborate street art being created all around it at the Upfest weekend but, unless it was used late on Sunday, was overlooked apart from the unartistic stuff seen here on the walls.

The painting is located in Gaujas iela 5, RIGA, Latvia 2014.

I didn't like much the wall which was proposed to me but i defenetly liked the area. The piece is situated in the yard of "Brasalona", an evolving artistical and technical complex :

Quote from their FB page :

" Brasalona is an evolving space at Gaujas street which is already the home of The Artists’ Union of Latvia gallery "Art", Latvian music label "Dirty Deal Audio", "Rīgas Darbnīca" that popularizes the use of recycled materials in the creation of design and practical objects and also Brasalona is the home of other creative initiative authors. Mine is an actual blank canvas I acquired this weekend, and will be developing something on it over time. It may take a while.

I was going to call this something like" hope in the darkness" but thought "lighthouse" summed it up nicely. I remember those yellow fog street lights always making me feel safe at night.Or could this be the warmth you have, when you are with your partner or friend..A

My new wheels :-) yes it's my photo of the day for the 24th, I skipped editing a bunch of days and also am breaking my macro theme for this day, oh well, my rules so I can break them if I want.

Anyways, this is my new car, it's a blank slate as of now and I've got some fun plans for it :-) It's an 06 Cooper S and has pretty low miles, it's a perfect platform for someone like me. I'll be changing the aesthetics shortly (grill, lights, trim, etc, minor stuff), and come spring will be addressing the unsightly wheel gap and installing the BBS R90's I've been meaning to refinish for a while (gold of course). I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one so stay tuned. This was the first day I had it home so I just headed out and snapped a quick shot, I plan on getting much better shots in the future.

Emily Carr University of Art. Aspiring artist brings his blank canvas - probably hopes that inspiration will strike - at some time.

Height: 5'11"

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Current Home: California

Current Job: Hostess

Favorite Fashion Designer: Alexander McQueen

What She Can Bring To The Competition: A fresh look and high fashion style

Brief Paragraph: Jean was born with albinism. She has been teased through her life and even called "ghost" and "casper." Jean doesn't see her albinism as a flaw, though. Instead, she sees it as something that makes her stand out from all others. She thinks of herself as a blankcanvas because she can work any item of clothing. Her look makes her very popular with designers because she sells what she wears. Her favorite thing to do is runway.

Inspired by Rachel Baran, ignore the bad scan, the scanner at college is pretty rubbish.

Her mind was a mess but her face was a blank canvas

This was a cabinet door, from my kitchen. If I'd have been thinking ahead, I would have kept ALL the doors, for projects like this. Oh well! I hope it turns out as gorgeous as the image I have in my mind.
