We love Blame Sally. This group kinda sorted started in San Luis. Pam Delgado played with Jill Knight and then Jill's Knight Out. She met Jeri (second from left) in SF and they started Blue Water Triplets, and lemme tell you we love us some BWT. And then that expanded to Blame Sally. Each one of these women wrote songs and sang. They were great. A Rebel favorite.

Having happened across Aroe's new piece 'Lo Riders' as Aroe finished in the dark last Saturday i was quite keen to get the chance to take it in daylight. NOPE! some clever clogs parking enforcement had stuck their parking enforcement notice straight across the jockeys face!!!!

I blame the judges on so you think you can dance for my recent obsession with knitting a super slouchy beret. My first fair isle project, Selbu by Kate Gagon Osbourne.

Both are 100% BFL so this hat should get me through the winter. It took over 36 hours to block ON sham wow. If that doesn't keep -30 windchill out, nothing will.
This pattern is so easy and intuitive and simple to follow. It was a great (addicting) project and I really want to knit another one. As a testament to it's mindlessness I was able to knit during a subtitled movie.
Thanks to cauchy09 for suggesting it! Clever girl.
I used 1x1 ribbing for extra squishyness and lost some of it's elasticity during blocking. Nothing a bit of of elastic thread won't fix.
Happiness is looking straight on me... but I'm avoiding his call. How this will last? no blame on me.
3/31/09 - I've just been so frustrated with everyone and everything since this week started! I don't like being touched, loud voices, or anything of the sort. Blah, I need a chill pill.
Sorry it's so similar to yesterday's. :/
"You were bringing on the end, you do so well. You can only blame yourself, it's what I say." - Brand New.
Self Portrait (you definitely will not see many of these on my stream)

Sometimes when you go to a show, you know what you're going to see. However, if you just happen to show up and One To Blame(FL) is playing, anything goes. This hardcore quintet comes on stage donned as a banana, a troll doll, a gigolo, and possibly with a robot in tow (or a giant man-sized stuffed bear), all bets are off. When I saw them, I literally had no idea what was going on because it was pitch black, there was a flashing light on stage and Daler Mendhi, an immensely popular Punjabi pop singer, was blasting over the PAs. Right after that, it was a straight breakdown into a Hatebreed cover. I think this was the first set I'd witnessed that was a whirlwind. From a frontman who's not only running and rolling on stage and moshing in the crowd, band members dressed up as fruit and plastic dolls, to the torrent of inflatable kid's toys that kept appearing from their dressing room. The set was hilarious and a lot of fun but it was so fast paced I have to watch videos of their songs just to really remember what went on.
If they're ever on a playbill for your show, do yourself a favor and make sure to check them out. And if they disappoint you, blame someone else because you have no sense of humour!
