Because NO ONE deserves to be raped or assaulted, no matter how they dress or look or act or think.
SlutWalk began in response to the following statement from a Toronto police officer:
“You know, I think we’re beating around the bush here… women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimised.”
SlutWalks are organised to combat the culture of victim blaming and slut shaming that leads to attitudes like this, and to support the sexual assault survivors who these attitudes hurt further.

We don't really get blamed for too much...but I'm sure people think it. This "poster" is pretty spot on though haha. Wish I could find an original source for it as I found it looks like it originates from MTLBMA though I spotted it on the Maca bloggy.
You know who you are!
This headline quotes an interview with a German government official.
If the story had been based on interviews with bankers, of course, the headline could be something like "Nitwit governments blamed."

In addition to his criticising past US administrations, Eritrean FM Osman Saleh's letter to the UN Security Council accused the Biden admin of 'stoking further conflict and destabilization'.
Eritrea’s foreign minister blamed US administrations that supported the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) for the last 20 years for the current war in northern Ethiopia's Tigray region, saying that blaming Eritrea for the fighting was unfounded.
Osman Saleh, in a letter to the UN Security Council circulated on Monday, accused President Joe Biden’s administration of “stoking further conflict and destabilization" through interference and intimidation in the region. “The apparent objective of these acts is to resuscitate the remnants of the TPLF regime,” he said.
The TPLF led the coalition that ruled Ethiopia for nearly three decades until Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed rose to power in 2018. Abiy alienated the TPLF in part by trying to make peace with its archenemy, Eritrea, then sent Ethiopian government troops into the region in November.
Thousands are estimated to have been killed in the war that has sent a third of the region’s 6 million people fleeing. The government forces are now allied with soldiers from neighbouring Eritrea, who are blamed for many atrocities.

Blame is by Arch and out of Liable. He won the Breeder's Cup Classic and was the only horse to ever beat Zenyatta, in a year where he also won the Whitney Handicap and was competitive in the Jockey Club Gold Cup against Haynesfield who was able to set slow fractions and prevent Blame's closing rush. Blame stands at Claiborne Farm in Paris, Kentucky and is 16 or so hands.
