Both the Himmy and the Forth Bridge!!
He he!
One from March last year on a Scottish Himmy trip for a few days..
Pair of GP9r's looking a bit faded in their red, white and blue paint scheme. It is said they are painted to represent school colors of two local universities. The units are returning from the run to Chocowinity and entering Wilson yard with interchange and delivery traffic.
This was a bit of an accident. I was playing around with many options on this old bottle we had in the house, which had a LOT of arrows on it.. I decided to pour beer in the bottle, and it resulted in a foamy mess, which resulted in this. I then accidentally over adjusted the saturation, but then liked it. My original choice was to go for black and white. Hope you all see the arrow!
This guy reminds me bit of Fidel. The protest of lockdown and support for business owner of Adamson Barbeque of was in 3rd day and it was bit ridiculous, as there were more police, media and onlookers, then protesters. Both sides did not want to lose face and closing the joint is not a victory for anyone. This place is in my neighborhood and I did not even know where the restaurant was, until I seen the police cars.

Blackpatch Triggerfisch, a little bit agressive by end of the dive.

It was a bit misty morning, quite a calm and relaxing one. I was enjoying my walkabout with a camera, trying to make the most of the time the mist was drifting around.
Sometimes, when I’m out taking images, I overdrive myself in walking, taking shots, looking for compositions… I do it in every possible way. I’m afraid I will regret not taking some shots if the conditions are favourable, so-called FOMO (fear of missing out). And then I come home completely exhausted in that way that I don’t have the energy the whole day, sometimes, to even transport my images to the computer and have a glance at them. I do that the next day. Then I became overwhelmed with the amount of photos I’ve got. It happens every time…
Because of that, I’m now looking to save energy as much as I can. If there is not a thick, dense fog I evaluate the scene I see in front of me or in the distance. Should I go there, maybe I should get back around, that sort of thinking. All those locations where I’m going I pretty much know by now so I can rely on that. And if there is a thick, dense fog, well, I totally pressure myself. I can’t help it then. It is stronger than me. My brain is working fast, I’m sweating like it’s mid-summer and so on…
Anyway, to get back on this shot. The mist was clearing away and I stood on the part of the forest where I observed the surroundings. At one point I was at the shore of the river looking if there was some atmosphere in the part of the forest across, on the other side of the river. I didn’t see any, but I noticed this lovely glow in the air, as some moisture was obviously still there. It was just at the time some light hit out the trees across. I decided to not go any further, but maybe there was an actual shot from where I was standing, I thought. I’ve never shot this composition before, so it’s always fun when you find something new in a familiar location. I took a few images and after seeing them on my computer screen back home, they looked decent to me.
I like the interaction among the trees here, and how the main subject tree is a bit twisty. Colours and light are lovely. The only downside is that blue patch on the up left that I could not be bothered to cover in the post. All in all, a fine morning well spent with a camera among the trees.
Hoping for clear sky and a bit of wing , hoping to catch some sailboats, I called few people from our photo club www.surreyphotographyclub.ca
to go to one of my favorite places – Crescent Beach in South Surrey – White Rock. We didn't get any breeze and the sky was getting hazy even at 7am. Still we were able to take few shots. This is the place that I can spend hours – actually I did on few occasions. This time just after 7am.

Bit of an Easter theme going on here with the church and the 'daffs' , roseberry-topping in the background and the moon rising between the branches, very faintly.
A bit of reflected light filling in the shadows of these two massive rock formations caught my attention as I waited for the harsh light to soften. Devil's Garden is not really a place that's known for reflected light, but I'll take it!
It was a bit wormer day and I decided to go Belmar beach to shoot sunrise. It is around forty miles drive from my house. As soon I started driving, seen beautiful colors in the sky. Realized, I am running late, but colors were beautiful and I continued my driving with half heart. I had composition in my mind, was going to shoot sun in background with waves in the action. As soon I reached to beach, sun was just started emerging from the sea. Wow!! Fortunately, I found a rocky place just near to parking. I ran and thrown my tripod on sand as there was not much time left to setup it. Though it was not as expected but able to capture at certain level. Might be next time!

Beach at Smith Point, Long Island, USA.
There is nothing more wonderful than seeing a sunrise while on a beach, when the weather is mild enough not to freeze one's bottom. We ware able to enjoy such morning, when the ocean was quite calm (although I would prefer a bit more drama there ;D) and it was relatively warm for this time of year. And we weren't the only ones, though majority seems to have come for fishing rather, than enjoying a view ;D
