African Lanner Falcon turning on a sixpence whilst tracking its prey every second of the way

The Bald Eagle population has increased in the area where I live. While returning home I spotted 5 eagles in the field. Drove home (less than a mile), grabbed the camera and returned to the spot. They were spread out too much to get all of them in one shot and were leary of my car sitting on the road. 4 adults and 1 juvenile.

Went out to Kensington to see what was going on during our first Snow storm of the season. One of the pair of Eagles that have been hanging around was back at the Heron rookery. Quite a contrast to the shots I took just two days ago. I had to put the Cherokee in 4wd on the way home. We got about 8 inches!!

not the best of shots but having last mon and tues off I went to lakenheath then strumshaw and managed this buzzard , marsh harrier , kestrel red kite and sparrowhawk

This raptor is the most skittish character. I chased it from one end to another end back to where I started. Sun was extremely hot hot hot. Its about 3.5km walk later I got this shot.

3 year old female Snowy Owl hunting

Looking for some help with ID on this one. Not sure if it is a whistling kite or maybe a square tailed kite. Either way, it was remarkably tame sitting quietly at the river edge, allowing me to get within a few metres.

Last visit to Truganina Park for 2022.

The Osprey (Pandion haliaetus), sometimes known as the Sea Hawk, Fish Eagle or Fish Hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. It is a large Raptor, reaching more than 24 inches (60 cm) in length and a 71 inches (180 cm) wingspan. It is brown on the upper parts and predominantly greyish on the head and under parts, with a black eye patch and wings. In 1994, the osprey was declared the provincial bird of Nova Scotia, Canada.
