This old lady was feeding these birds which is illegal. A flock of birds was flying around the street.
This is a combination of 2 of my photos. Same bird as in my last photo :)
Textures, thanks to Jerry Jones.
Thank you card with birds. Sent by a Postcrosser in the United States to thank me for some cards that I sent to her.
Not often but every once in a while ya get caught a little long on glass.
These are very friendly birds. Also know as Camp Robbers.

This Canada goose is much more interested in feeding on the newly uncovered grass and keeping an eye out for other geese to mind my close presence.
The background in both shots is the ice on Loafers lake.
Scarlet Robin. A favourite bird of bush and garden in south west and south east australia and tasmania.
Another image from a couple of days ago.
It's been suggested that this is a female Golden Whistler by fellow fickr photographer Ian Colley - thanks Ian!
About as close as my lens could focus, I spotted this little guy foraging among the bushes - hope you like it!!!
It's a big file so check it out LARGE if you like!!
All the best to each of you for a fantastic day and weekend - thanks for any comments, views or favorites!!

I don't think this tin is very old, but it sure was cute! (cuteness plays a big role in my purchases, in case you had not noticed :) It is a bird cage, and on each side are 4 different views of different birds. A mere 10 cents for all this feathery fun!
Taken at Pench NP Tiger Reserve India.

There are ,or were, at least 2 owls in this tree hole. To see an image showing two, click the small image in my comments.
To see all my bird photos on flickr click my album 'all birds' below right. They are from various countries, mostly India, UK and Bulgaria. Some are there for rarity, novelty etc rather than image quality!
I always try to identify birds correctly but sometimes I am not sure, or have no idea! Especially with birds of prey or if they are in winter plumage, juveniles etc.
If I have not identified them or you think I am wrong, please add a comment.I will not be offended, as long as you are not offended if I disagree.🐤😃
On my first day out after the deluge(s), I didn't see many birds, but was grateful to get to watch this Robin in all her fluffiness enjoying the sun. Our little lake was full to the brim and not very attractive because of the murkiness from all the run-off in the
area.
Thank you for your visits and for your postings. Both are much appreciated. Also, they suggest to me that you're doing okay out there.
Unidentified feathered creature turns up in Charlottetown, P.E.I. Neither my wife nor I-----and we're both seniors who've lived in this general part of the world all our lives-----had ever seen one of these before. But there it was (actually, there were two of them) sitting on the wires. Can anyone out there tell us what it is? By the way, I'm sorry I couldn't get a bigger and sharper image than this. The photo was taken in haste, through a screen, on an overcast day, and the birds were some distance away. It was one of those times when you just grab your camera and shoot as fast as you can, without worrying about the quality of the shot.
