Many years ago while looking for ideas to decorate a room I remember reading that colors occurring in nature present the best ideas for color combinations. That’s what came to mind when I observed this plant. Pink transitioning to white against a green background and a splash of yellow for an accent would work beautifully for some, although not a color scheme that I would chose for me.
Credits to friends (Flickr screen names PriscillaBurcher and Ernesto Uribe) for inspiring me through their beautiful work to try this shot.
This is the first year I've gotten into growing Begonias. I really love them and will be making them part of my summer scape from now on...
Took some time off working on a behind-the-scenes task with our blog to drive one of my sons to University and stopped on the way home to photograph a few flowers.
Our blog/web page continues to evolve (and takes a lot of my time) but with over 40,000 visits recorded in the first year of it existence, my son and I are both happy with its progress and response.
