I got this begonia from Laurel Hardware last spring. A strong grower, it is the mother of what I hope will be some interesting hybrids. The pollen, the fathers, came from several of my terrarium begonias.
I took a photo of a beautiful plant at my mother-in-law's house - Begonia Rex.
Have a vibrant Thursday! x

Acetosa leaf cuttings so readily yield now plants. I am pleased the ones I planted in the garden are still doing well
This begonia is in the perfect wind protected and bright shaded spot to allow it to actually thrive outdoors, but still needs heavy protection from slugs and snails. Probably best in pots on a sheltered porch, but it does well here with the house blocking a bit of rain, as well as the palm fronds above it.
