Begonia Erythrophylla a houseplant normally grown for its foliage and commonly known as Beefsteak Begonia.

Species begonia from Chiapas, Mexico. Leaf surface has a nice sheen to it, sort of iridescent.

Just some begonias at Oak Brook shopping center. For some reason begonias are challenging to photograph. I suppose it's because they are quite small and the way they grow makes it hard to get the DOF right. I don't have a macro lens and didn't have a tripod but this came out pretty well.
