Makeup for the beginners tends to be confusing and sometimes even not working out in the first attempts. This can be attributed to the fact that there a lot of makeup products that are present in the market with most of them having unclear tips about their application. In the UK, 22% of the beginners use makeup depending on their moods while using their own techniques while 42% of them prefer using natural make up tips which are good options. This was my first quilting project. It was a learning experience, and they are not perfect, but my wife is thrilled with them.
I based the placemat design on this pattern, substituting the rising star block from here.

Blimey, this was hard going!!! We bought a 'Beginner's Photoshop' magazine last weekend, and some of the projects are supposed to take half hour, while some are likely to take several hours!!
The inspiration behind this picture was on page 152 - I think you are supposed to start at the beginning and work up to projects like this! Anyway, I started off following instructions on 'blending mode portrait', and then got confused and went my own way! So, this is the result! Not quite as I intended, but I started on the right track!!

Just a little something I'm working on at the moment... A beginners kit with a more contemporary theme!
This snowglobe ATC is clear, and when you shake it the glitter moves around. It's kind of like a snowglobe, but without the water. Oh, and it's flat (not a glass sphere).
This card has:
- a wet-on-wet watercolor base (though most of it is covered by the image)
- an image and text that were cut from fabric and glued onto the watercolor paper
- a hand-colored back done in red with a tiny snowman face image (also from fabric)
- white, clear, and blue glitter
- a plastic exterior (made from a ziploc bag)
- red thread used to machine-sew around the edges
This artist trading card (ATC) is for the ATC Beginners October Swap. The theme this month is "Seasons."
This card is being traded with linaconde and will be mailed in early October once she moves to Japan.
