I wish I had the knack, both in beading and writing, of designing and sketching (or outlining) a piece, then executing the design intact. Unfortunately, I don't. Whether beading or writing, I never seem to know where I'm going until I actively participate in the physical activity.
This piece grew and changed greatly in the making. It's a something old, something new piece: I've had the Czech seed bead mix and plum luster accent beads for years, but the chain and Japanese beads are new.

My very first attempt at beading something on a loom. Of course, the instructions about how to finish it off were totally wrong, and when I picked it up it fell apart like this. But I now have proper instructions & the next one will be good.

This is a recycled wine bottle converted into a lovely wine lantern. Inside the wine bottle is a hand molded wire holder in which a battery operated tea light candle is placed. Around the bottom of the wine bottle is beaded ribbon to add an elegant touch. The wine lantern has a gold chain with a ring attached for easy hanging. Each wine lantern is hand cut by me and unique.This bottle looks lovely when lit up. It would be a great addition to any room in your house or apartment. This would even look great outside, hanging from a tree or on your porch.
This would be a great gift idea for family and friends.
If you would like more of the same wine lanterns, please let me know. I will try my best to find the same type of wine bottle. I also love to do custom orders! If you see a wine bottle that you like, but would like to have different beading, let me know.
CAUTION! The chain on the wine lantern can get hot. Please do not leave unattended. Keep out of reach from children and pets. You may also use a battery operated tea light if you'd like.

This is a pendant and necklace that I have just finished. It's based on the "Scheherezede" pattern by Sabine Lippert.
I was mighty pleased with how it turned out... It is a beautiful, substantial piece. It looks better in person than my very bad pics!
Ok so this is my very first beading attempt, on a wet felt background, A little wonky on one side i know lol but i really loved it. This is only a small piece about 6in wide, and i'll just keep practising.
This is a basic crazy pieced picture that was embroidered with basic embroidery stitches that have been adorned with seed beads.
Pattern worked out using BeadTool Software. Beading done on the loom using about 12,000 miyuki delicas. Lined with cloth and zipper added afterward. I had searched through hundreds different celtic cross designs to come up with one I could draw well enough using the software to make the pattern. The whole project from start to finish was self-inspired with absolutely no instructions on how to put it together but the experiment worked out extremely well. I was so happy with the end result it was difficult to part with it when it came time to gift!
