I have been working on this for a while, possibly not as long as I thought. It feels good to have finished it. I just loved the shapes and how it went together. Now I am thinking of going to St Ives in Cornwall to a bead shop to find beads for the next one! Oh how our hobbies distract us

I've made another in a pale sort of teal and I used silver lined crystal to embellish the heart. I like them both! Unfortunately I forgot to photograph it before giving it to the friend for whom it was made.
This was the most complicated design I've done because there are two layers of beading and the directions left something to be desired. Once you figure out what they want you to do (call the psychic hotline???) it's easy.

I was going for the whole "Jewellery-shop-in-a-magazine-advertisement" look. How do you think this worked? It was my first shot of beading/jewelerry with the new camera. What do you think? ANy suggestions?

made from multicoloured beads weaved round a thick wire skeleton shaped similar to a spiders web.
My first attempt..It is made by weaving the beads which are threaded on a long piece of thinner wire and weaved in and out of the spiders web skeleton.It is a photo showing how i have turned the tray over and am weaving the base.
Pattern worked out using BeadTool Software. Beading done on the loom using about 12,000 miyuki delicas. Lined with cloth and zipper added afterward. I had searched through hundreds different celtic cross designs to come up with one I could draw well enough using the software to make the pattern. The whole project from start to finish was self-inspired with absolutely no instructions on how to put it together but the experiment worked out extremely well. I was so happy with the end result it was difficult to part with it when it came time to gift!
