Cortez Island. The Island is beautiful and the lunch we had at Squirrel Cove was so perfect. Tempura battered spot prawns, Prawn cocktail with vodka, small scallop ceviche, and the craziest was the Panko crumb crusted deep fried dill pickles :0) The beach had abundant oysters, clams and Sea Asparagus. We picked some of the Sea Asparagus and had it for dinner. Yumm!

...after a long time. Picked a random spot on google maps and it turned out to be this.

Nothing like being on the beach to cure restlessness and sickness. The last time I saw a beach was probably in SF. man I miss that place.

The sun was way too bright. It was 9 PM and a CPL + ND4 + ND8 weren't enough, to get this exposure.

Cervantes Beach

This shot was taken from Plimmerton Beach, New Zealand looking out to Mana Island. Silhouette of the northern tip of the South Island can be seen in the background beneath the sunset.

I thought that the sunset would break across the whole sky for a second which would have made for a pretty spectacular effect, however it just stuck to lighting the horizon.......next time ;)
