A starling was singing loudly on top of this sign at Crosby beach which caught my attention. It was a dull day so it turned into a silhouette :)
Beach shelters are an integral part of the British seaside. Many comedy sketches on TV feature shelters. Perhaps they're built because we expect rain ? This one is illuminated inside by the morning sun.
Quatre terrains de beach-volley, aménagés sur 900m2, sont accessibles à tous, tous les jours, de 13h à 20h, sur le parvis de l’Hôtel de Ville, et ce jusqu'au 16 août !
Not the sort of beach that one normally finds in the Caribbean, but St Vincent has an active volcano...indeed it is covered by clouds in the background.
Black sand beaches are what you find on the main island. By contrast, the Grenadines has some of the most pristine white sand beaches I've ever seen.

All art is but imitation of nature.-- Seneca (Letters from a Stoic - Letter LXV: On the First Cause)
The universe itself is God and the universal outpouring of its soul. --Chrysippus (Quoted by Cicero in De Natura Deorum)
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells. --To Autumn. by John Keats

Seen from the Paradise Hotel in Busan, South Korea. This country's towering real estate developments mostly appear to nestle harmoniously in the beautiful landscape of chiseled hills and expansive seasides.

For this shot I was in two minds whether or not to stay with colour or just do the conversion, in keeping with the rest monochrome work.
I also wish I had been closer I was way above the subjects having zoomed in with 300mm lense, handheld shot.
