Southwold Sea Front, Suffolk

Porpoise Bay, is the adjacent beach to Curio Bay.

I've not been around here in a while but with time on my hands thought I'd come and say hello. I hope everyone is keeping well.

I had a fairly inspiring winter period, especially working on my local beach. The sea defences have become very seriously eroded which does make for interesting imaging opportunities. This breakwater has now sadly gone after being a part of my photographic life for a very long time. It's ironic that at the end of their life they become more interesting.

Have never ever seen beach mushrooms. I wouldn never have seen them except I was down on the ground photographing some tiny yellow beach flowers, another thing I never noticed. Happy Day to all (;-D

Manly Beach on a nice day, on a beautiful day.

I so want a beach hut! It'd have to be uber modern inside though and neighboured by some equally design conscious huts! As for colour I'd probably go for something striking - perhaps a burnt orange. And as for a name, hmm, Wylde Plaice. Wah, how corny is that!?

And OMG, what is Edward Woodwardwoodward doing in EE!??

I love B&W on the beach!

Another photo taken on the beach in Den Helder Netherlands on a nice evening sunset.

The colors are quite strong which is rendered by the powerful Fuji Velvia50 film. Maybe not to everybody's liking but at the moment I feel I have to make such photo's. I'm probably a colourist-))

Coastal storm clouds rising on Brewster Flats, Cape Cod.

A beach north of our capital city in the North Island called Titahi Bay. Boat sheds like this are rare in NZ but waves and gulls are common enough. One of those autumn days when the rain was just holding off but the wind blowing hard enough to change everything in a few minutes. Thanks for coming all the way south to see this :)

4 months old and starting his love affair with all things beach

A fabulous and not to crowded beach in southern California is the shoreline of Carlsbad State Beach. You can walk, swim, surf, picnic, birdwatch, and stay for an amazing sunset. Some parking is free and if you don't find a spot it is often worth paying for a spot too. Enjoy the ocean, be good to your planet, drive less, turn you thermostat up two degrees, pick up someone else's trash and do a good deed.. Bravo.

When on holiday in Australia we came across a sand Crustacean actually slinging out these tiny balls of sand brought up from burrowing to get to the surface, Incredible crustacean art i would say !!!
