While Kozy was sitting in the sunbeam coming thru the window, I used spot metering and negative exposure to create the black background. Cropping and vignette were done in post editing.

It's almost time for submissions to ANMPAS (Annual New Mexico Photographic Art Show). One of the categories is Floral/Botanical. I have been thinking about submitting something like this, but probably I won't. There are some *very* good pros in this category.
