I hope you aren't sick of these iris seeds (oops I meant croutons :-) ) yet :-) I am still taking photos of them as there isn't a great deal else in the garden at the moment.

Have a lovely day or evening everyone!!

Unfurling fern frond.

When I saw this Eastern Bluebird land on a branch ahead of me on the the trail, I was able to raise my camera and fire off a quick burst of distant shots. But then, almost immediately, and before I could move any closer, the bird was gone.

HSS & Our Daily Challenge: "Seasonal"

This character seemed a bit shy (yes...I know that flowers are not shy)...but it just had that appearance.

I wish you all a fantastic Thursday....whatever it holds for you...look for the blessings.

Okay, not really - she was looking at a bug or something - but I thought it _looked_ bashful on the camera! Aria exploring the ivy in the back yard.

When a bird (or other animal), does this sideways slightly downward look, it makes me think bashful. In this case, probably looking for a mate a little lower in a neighboring tree! This was taken at the Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge.

I have no idea what this bashful little beauty is, but I suspect it belongs to the Asteraceae family.

Taken in the Mountainside neighbourhood of Gordon's Bay.

It's the feet that got me!

For weeks, I have been watching 5 peony buds in my mother's garden. They were so large, I knew they had to be tightly packed with layers of petals. But today, in the rain, they made their grand entrance. Perfection! Layer upon layer of white fluffy petals, with a drizzle of raspberry. One photo a day. (144/366) -- May 23, 2020

Another shot of this delightful, semi-wild miniature pony. I have photographed him many times over the years. He roams the New Forest freely and is often spotted grazing close to Exbury and Beaulieu.

All the ponies found in the forest are wild in the sense they can roam freely but in fact they are owned by New Forest Commoners.

An annual marking fee is paid for each animal turned out to graze.
