This is the base of the wind turbine. You can just see the enourmous bolts that go into the concrete base. By the way, asked how long it would take to cancel out the carbon produced by the manufacture of the entire wind turbine, our host has calculated that it takes between 3-8 months, rather than the decades of carbon debt that the doomsayers would claim.

Dad spent many hours at Composite Solutions laying 20 layers of carbon fiber fabric (left) on the seat base mold (right). This was his first work with carbon fiber. He has never even done fiberglass work and I think he did a superb job!
