Neubiberg Air Base is a former German Air Force and United States Air Force airfield which was closed in 1991. Today it is used as a leisure area.

Installing this thing was a bit scary. We had to drill holes for the water supply lines and then set the cabinet over the pipes. We were a bit concerned that the pipes wouldn't fit, but everything worked out in the end.

Cedar is a very soft wood. And this piece of heirloom cedar (old facia) has lost its red color. So I'm Burning it or you could say toasting it. This makes is a much darker tone and hardens the wood a bit. Cedar is very soft and will dent and scratch easy, so even a bit of hardening would be nice.
