Based on the same ideas as yesterday's photo, this time I thought I would try using my scanner and layers in Photoshop. I like the idea, and might try handwritten letters instead of book covers.
Turning finals on Base Sucre air base (SVBS), Maracay. We wanted to get to Valencia Airport, but another airplane had a misshap upon landing and the airport was closed for around 1:30 hours, so we called our pax and told'em to haul a$$ and get their behinds to this airport (35mins drive).
Sorry for the quality, it was windy and bumpy so i couldn't take a sharper picture. Winds were quarterly at 20-25kts from our right

A lucky group of Travis Air Force Base family members boarded a KC-10 Extender Feb 17, 2015 as part of an incentive flight on an air-to-air refueling mission. The spouse orientation sortie was arranged to familiarize our Air Force spouses and their families with what their loved ones do on an everyday basis to defend our nation. They were able to experience the KC-10 capabilities firsthand and ask questions of the crew. Passengers were able to witness the refueling of a C-17 Globemaster III piloted by Col. Rostral Columns. Installed in 1811. The Doric columns were lighthouses at the tip of Vasilyevsky Island to mark the split of the Neva into two channels, the the Bolshaya Neva and Malaya Neva.
At the base of the columns are statues of four allegorical figures representing four of Russia's major rivers - the Volga and Dnieper at the northern column, and the Neva and Volkhov at the southern column.

The base of a tree trunk found by Kari Gibson south of Crail in Fife which looks like gymnospermous tree Cordaites.
The fossilised lower tree trunk with the upper parts of thick roots looks like it could be a descendant of the conifer called the gymnospermous tree Cordaites, from the appearance of its bark?
It was found very close to coal seams.
