Even though money is short, times are tough and their father is away, their infectious sense of fun sweeps everyone up in their adventures - including Laurie, the boy next door. And through sisterly squabbles and tragic losses, the sisters discover that growing up is sometimes very hard to do.

An attempt to combine two Earth-based images without using LTVT to remap them to a common geometry. The two images were simply scaled and rotated so that they matched as nearly as possible.
The result is intended to be viewed as a red-cyan stereo image, but the result is not successful.

Due to the differences in librations, the two images were seen at about the same distance from the Moon's center, but twisted in angle. The eye perceives this as a kind of skewed surface, with little, if any, sense of relief connected with the fine structures.
The odd effect one sees is presumably due to the spherical nature of the surface that is being viewed from two angles. In the upper part of the image, the disparity between the positions is so great that the features cannot even be fused into a three-dimensional image when viewed with red-blue glasses.

Thirteen Individual Police Officers including two females performing their duties in Juba, Malakal and Bor received UN medals from the UNMISS Police Commissioner.
The function was attended by the UNMISS Police Commissioner, Mr. Bruce Munyambo, and UNPOL Chief of Staff, Mr. Girmay Gebrekidan.
Officers based in Bentiu could not reach Juba due to cancellation of flight and will receive their medals later from Zambian Contingent Commander.

The wilds of the Dengie Peninsula, home to the Saxon chapel of Bradfield as well as its near neighbour the nuclear power station, are punctuated by two urban moments. Maldon is in the north-west at the mouth of the Blackwater, and on the south side are Southminster and the larger Burnham-on-Crouch. The church is a huge thing, like a great grey animal sprawled ungainly against the high street. The outer gates were latched open. 'Welcome to St Leonard's!' said the sign, and 'turn handle clockwise to open!'. Well, I turned the handle, but it didn't open. It was 4.10pm, and I can only assume they locked the church at 4pm, or perhaps that was the time the timer switched the lock shut. A disappointment, for I had looked forward to exploring this cruciform church, which seems to be something of a curiosity. I shall obviously have to go back.
