A BASE jumper settles in his chute. It is completely legal to jump from the Perrine bridge here in Twin Falls, Idaho. This a popular destination for both BASE jumpers, and bungee jumpers. At nearly 500 feet above the river below, this bridge connects Twin Falls interstate 84 just north of the Snake River.

Maj. Sharon Gilliand, a KC-135 Stratotanker pilot with the 108th Wing, receives a celebratory spraying from her husband Maj. Kiel Gilliand, children Garrett and Lacey, fellow pilots and crew members following her final flight for the 108th Wing at Joint Base Mcguire-Dix-Lakehurst on Nov. 5, 2015. Gilliland, a pilot for 12 years with the New Jersey Air National Guard’s 108th Wing is ceremonially hosed down by fellow pilots, crewmembers, friends and family as she leaves piloting to others and takes a non-flying job with the 514th AMOS, Air Force Reserve so she can devote more time to her family.
