Kathy has always been a big Dallas Cowboys fan. She was real excited about her Cowboy's gear until I joked about their performance at the "Jessica" Bowl game. I see that face a lot during football season. Words like Redskins, Steelers and Jessica Simpson seem to have that effect on her.
One of many "baseball" hats I have but rarely wear. This one actually bought in the UK and reflects my time spent in the Royal Navy many moons ago. Superimposed is an image from the one and only baseball game I have ever attended this on July 4th 2007 at Denver, Colorado where I was visiting with my choir..
Posted for the Macro Mondays group weekly theme of "Baseball".
HMM to all in the group.
A guy with a baseball cap intently reading a book in Hyde Park Sydney. Luckily the camera metered this scene quite well. 2005
Small square softbox directly behind camera containing a Nikon SB24 at 1/4th power. Snooted SB28 behind subject camera left, snooted canon 430EX behind subject (me) camera right. both on 1/4th power. These help to accentuate my unpleasantly off-centre nose. 10-20mm lens, at 15mm, with me about 25cm away from it. Lovely.
Perhaps this baseball cap, bought by a colleague in Iraq after the invasion, tells far more about American motives for toppling Saddam Hussein than "Weapons of Mass Destruction", "War on Terror" or "Evil Regime Change". History will decide.
