My Tigers are in town tonight to play the Royals. Getting my shots out of the way now (and minus any messy makeup) so that we can go to the game and enjoy some beer, hotdogs and baseball. Hope everybody has a great Friday evening!

Perhaps this baseball cap, bought by a colleague in Iraq after the invasion, tells far more about American motives for toppling Saddam Hussein than "Weapons of Mass Destruction", "War on Terror" or "Evil Regime Change". History will decide.

Carlton Ernest Fisk (born December 26, 1947), nicknamed "Pudge" or "The Commander", is a retired Major League Baseball catcher. During a 24-year baseball career, he played for both the Boston Red Sox (1969, 1971–1980) and Chicago White Sox (1981–1993).

These help to accentuate my unpleasantly off-centre nose. 10-20mm lens, at 15mm, with me about 25cm away from it. Lovely.

Apparently, the best method to clean baseball caps is to put them in the dishwasher, which is what my sister does with my nephews' caps. They keep their shape better this way.

The two spent the afternoon at the Italian Feast/Fair of “San Gennaro” - 1651 N. Highland Ave in Hollywood.
