In de verkoopfolders wordt het volgende over dit hoofddeksel gezegd;

Zéér sportieve look en licht om te dragen. Met kunststof bescherming binnenin tegen stootgevaar. Ventilatiegaten aan zijkant. CE EN812-1997 De kunststof bescherming kan uit de baseballcap gehaald worden waardoor de pet wasbaar is en ook kan voorzien van een logo via borduren, zeefdruk of door het oppersen van een transfer.

Deze cap is voorzien van het logo van Odfjell.

This safety baseball cap, or "Bump cap", is designed to give limited head protection against low level impacts, such as those suffered by mechanics when working under vehicles etc. This stylish baseball cap features a navy body with ventilation holes, fitted over a lightweight plastic shell. Conforms to EN812 - 1997. Please note that this cap is not designed to provide protection against falling objects or heavy impacts etc. and should not be used to replace a safety helmet.

Doesn't my Sweetie look cute in her yellow baseball cap? She loves doing her work where the sunlight is flooding in, so she wears the cap to shade here eyes.

Super Speedy shot as today is weeding gone wild, not sure who is winning on this one either :)

I was surprised to see this Muslim couple in a place where the others were tasting wine, liqueurs and other alcoholic drinks. She was draped in her traditional clothes and she was wearing this baseball cap on the top of her hijab!

I designed these caps in 2003 to send to my liberal buddies. The design is a combination of the GOP elephant symbol and the ENRON "E". I'm surprised by how many people "get it" when they see me wearing it. I'm considering having more made and selling them, but I'm too lazy to sell them. I'll just end up giving them all away again.

Former Texas Governor Ann Richards saw me wearing mine at Whole Foods Market in 2004 and asked if I'd drop one by her condo. I obliged her with two. A year later I saw her again at Whole Foods and asked her if she got them--since she never thanked me--and she replied in a voice that sounded like the Shore Patrol breaking up a floating crap game: "Yayss, ah day-yid! And Ah gay-y-y-y-yve one to mah sawwwwww-w--w-wn!"
