this is a problem. Bart and Ton are dutch male forenames. They, or someone, carved 'Bart and Ton go..' and maybe something more, but that was eaten away by a horse.
So.
It's possible that this was ít, just 'go', clumsily meaning going steady. Or they went for something else and we'll never know.
Worse: if the wild horses nibble on, the bark will vanish to a point where the whole tree dies off. Exit Bart & Ton ;-)

Bart Peeters met Mira in het voorprogramma zorgden zondag 8 augustus voor een spetterende middag tijdens Zomer op het Plein.
Due to the Macarthur maze meltdown, there was free public transit in the San Francisco bay area today. Apparently this cost the state government $2.5 million. The cynic in me says that I can't see them doing this again any time soon, though it is encouraging that they didn't stick their heads in the sand about public transportation.
All I can hope is that people in this car crazy place realise that public transportation is for _everyone_, not just those who "cant afford to drive".
