The guy with the bullhorn was shouting as if directing an emergency evacuation. Despite the Spanish on the front of the shirt he was shouting in English and had HEAVEN OR HELL CHOOSE JESUS on the back of the shirt in English. I have heard other evangelists shouting in Spanish on this corner.

In Richmond, CA, Bart and Amtrak are on the same platform. The day I took this, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) was on strike. I found it weird that the entire gate was blocked except one little door.
I met Vic Silayan's brother, Bart, during the premiere of Vic's documentary in 1985. Bart was an engineer and together with his younger brother, Ren, they ran the company, Allied Metals. After Vic died, I met Bart again at a gathering hosted by Virgie Moreno at Cafe Orfeo in Malate to honor the memory of Vic. At that gathering, Bart taught me how to drink scotch. This picture was taken at his home in Quezon City.
