Earrings and masks don’t mix
My mask comes off and on (even though I know that isn’t a recommended practice). Threading my earrings through the ear loops every time is super annoying.
Over the last few years, I’ve come to favor earrings as my statement jewelry of choice. Masks make them a real pain, though, so I’m reaching for different jewelry now. My necklaces are being worn and I even sported a couple of bangles, today. (Remember arm parties?)
Shirt, Forever 21 (thrifted). Skirt, Flying Tomato (consignment). Shoes, Unisa (thrifted). Bangles, Charming Charlie.
I decided my growing pile of "not quite right lentils" needed to be used. This is the result plus some foiled dots and scrap clay core. Love how they turned out.
Wondering if only women are really aware of the deep impact of colors in life ?
The narrow lanes are so small that only a wide is useful.

Bangles or Chudi, as they are called in Hindi, form an integral part of Indian women's attire. These are made from many different materials like glass, laad, copper and even with silver and gold (for those few who can afford gold these days :D). and are often studded with various kinds of stones. Bangles are so popular in India that they can be found in virtually every city and village. Many of the big cities have complete markets dedicated to selling bangles.

My new fave look for this summer I think. I am also getting into bangles problem is they are designed for smaller hands so its bit of a struggle getting them off once on.

Pregnant women wears bangles in both the hands in odd numbers. It is believed that the bangle sound induces the child's senses.
It was 00:35 AM and i was about to sleep when suddenly i got an idea to click a snap with these colours..... It took me sooo much time to arrange these bangles one upon the other.... I almost lost patience...and got frustrated... but i just thought of the out come and kept trying and finally ... snap..... this was the out come!!! :) Now i can sleep peacefully!!!
