Smile on Saturday: Bangles

I do love Pandora Jewellery, this is one of my Bangles.

Some of these charms are special to me:

The Statue of Liberty one I got in New York when there for Daughters 18th Birthday

The Toronto Skyline one I got when in Toronto for my 25th Wedding Anniversary

The London one was for the visit to London for Daughters 21st Birthday

And the Daughter one was given to me from my Mum & Dad

1990's Bangle hand made by Lesley Strickland.

" All things become precious and infused with meaning at worlds end. These bangles you adorn yourself with are no different."

Sardar Market in Jodhpur

From the bus on Pultney Street - outside one of the private colleges. This ladies bangles on each limb caught my eye. Silver Efex Pro 2: Fuji Neopan ACROS 100 with 70% Green filter

Prompted by the "Smile on Saturday" challenge to have a rummage in my jewellery box - and found these.

Simple and a bit rough around the edges, but they made me smile as they remind me of the holiday when I bought them - in a bustling market in the Gambia.

Clicked at the Haryana Heritage Festival, December 20, 2009 at Pinjore Garden near Chandigarh, North India.
