[strike]Or so the recipe says. It tastes good and it's fudgy, but I wouldn't say ultimate. [/strike]
Seriously, after 3 days, they ARE the best brownies I've ever had! Delayed gratification never tasted so good!
The new macro lens I'm using? Now THAT is pretty sweet.
The very kind people of Duncan Hines invited me and Nichelle to represent Cupcakes Take as they launched their National Bake Sale Contest (which you can enter now!) to benefit Cupcakes for a Cause/CancerCare for Kids®.
We learned about the CancerCare for Kids®, were sold cupcakes from St. Dominic High School students, saw a cupcake demo by our inspiration Clare Crespo, and ate delicious food and cupcakes.

Since purchasing The Joy of Vegan Baking, I've been on a hunt for the best vegan margarine (trans-fat free) on the market that is also the least expensive. Thanks for Tofu-N-Sprouts, her suggestion months ago helped me find one in no time. This is my top choice for vegan (baking) butter.

October at Bake Oven Knob near Germansville, PA. A vulture glides by lazily, overshadowed by the beauty of the background.
The table of goodies is ready for customers at the James Tiptree Memorial Award Bake Sale at Wiscon 30. Well over $500 dollars was raised for the award.
We ate at Karim's historic restaurant located near Jama Masjid in Old Delhi (one of the largest masjids in India). The restaurant was started in 1913 by Mohammed Aziz, who was a chef in the royal court of Mughal Emperors. His idea was to bring royal-quality foods to the locals. Karim's has now expanded to other sites, but still today, the fourth generation is still running the place at this original site in Old Delhi.
The highlights of our visit were the delicious naan bread, the mutton stew and the tandoori chicken. Besides the food, I was impressed with the way their kitchen areas are divided up into station by types of food. This photo is of the bread/naan/roti area. We enjoyed watching the bread maker continuously pick up freshly baked naans from the tandoori oven, and throw them perfectly over to the waiter waiting to catch them one by one.
Taken with three slave flashes with filters, one blue on the background and one yellow and one red on me. Totally unprocessed.
Fruit at the bottom, old fashioned baked cheesecake in the middle, and crumbs on top. Served warm or ice cold, very good indeed. Rhubarb is good right now, or gooseberries when they're in season
