Bag End is at the end of Bagshot Row and the home of Bilbo Baggins.
There were no oak trees on the farm used for Hobbiton so the one at Bag End is artificial with leaves imported from Taiwan and glued on by local students.
Hobbiton movie set, near Matamata.
It was over 90 degrees (Almost 100) when I shot this. I can't imagine anything with that much fur being comfortable wearing a tight-fitting bag around their body on a hot summer day. It sure is cute, though. =)

What's missing?
I'm in desperate need for a motor head for serious timelapse pans. Oh... and I really need a good, long term workout. That's to the awfully weighty baggie or even the 70-200 VR alone... ;)

When in Vegas I have to go to Ethel M Chocolates for peppermint bark, only made on the holidays.
25.01.30. Apparently Canada is one of the few places where people buy bags of milk. I’ve bought cartons for years but as a kid my parents used to buy this. Saw some in a grocery store today and it brought back memories.
a gift from my sister from her trip to japan in 1970, a laughing bag. this device was very popular in the 1970s. millenials will find this very outdated compared to the more sophisticated devices and gadgets nowadays but back in the day it was very cool to own one of this to impress your friends and chicks!

I have taken this week's Macro Monday theme quite literally and shown a snippet of the inside of my bag. I just love the colours in the fabric lining. Too nice to stay hidden.
Amy Butler weekender bag using Art Gallery's bee print (love it), as well as some tweed suiting, yellow twill and grey cottons. Large bee is done by freehanding a bee and some hexies and then raw edge applique as well as turned edge applique techniques.
This is the reason my own son didn't get a birthday cake this year! When I was asked to make a Hobbit house cake I was very excited and said yes immediately! This is actually for a grown man who obviously is a huge Lord of the RIngs/Hobbit fan. I hope he loves it as much as I loved making it.
This started off as a 9" round and ended up almost coming to the edges of the 14" board
