This blue bag has been sat outside my flat since I moved in, and my kids so associate it with the flat now I daren't throw it away. That would be like chasing off the raven's at the tower of London...

This bag was made from a brightly patterned fine needle cord. It had been lined with 100% cotton and reinforced with medium weight interfacing.
this bag looks like a miniskirt .. but that is because of the black canvas i added to the bottom to give it wear-resistance.
Hace tiempo vi esta idea en internet de usar bolsas de super para tejer y por fin lo hice! Ni se cuantas volsas usé, pueden ver el cambio de colores.
I found this idea somewhere online, and then in a craft book. I went through dozens of bags, and my thumb is still numb a month later.
The reverse of this bag is plain pink with a central panel of the paper bag printed material edged with pink glittery ribbon.
The bag measures at 35cm wide by 48cm tall, with straps. A 100% cotton outside back pack/cinch sack and black cordura inside. There is one large main compartment and a inner pocket with a magnit. A great bag for carrying your sport shoose, school books or anything you need for a day at the beach. Just the right size for your laptop 15"6 too!
If you'd like this design on a different color bag, just let me know.

This is the Hobbiton film set from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy. It's on a private farm in Matamata, New Zealand, and it is amazing to visit, even though they are not allowed to dress up the holes (which is why they are all white). It's fun to watch the Fellowship of the Ring afterwards and recognize all the places you've stood or seen.
Scouring for ghetto handlebar bag setups, found coolers at K-Mart. Compared to Rivendell Sackville bag.

Just needs some form of retention mechanism (magnets / snaps / velcro)
Another Jane Market Bag from the pattern by Alicia Paulson. Made in Essex Cotton Linen & a cotton linen dot print with handles in Joel Dewberry's Herringbone fabric in grass. Made a few changes to the pattern, used interfacing on interior & exterior & added seams to bottom of bag (to enclose each pocket so things did not get lost) & another seam close to the top edge.
The Saturday Market Bag from MagKnits. Lily Sugar 'n Cream 100% cotton, colorway 02235 "Country Side Ombre". Knit June-July 2007.
I made this quilted bag for my sister to celebrate her 30th birthday. The pattern is the mini Miranda bag by Lazy Girl Designs. The gorgeous fabric is from Quilt Essentials in Derbyshire. The pattern was really easy to follow, even for a beginner like me, because it's clearly written and has lots of photographs. I did take lots of time to make sure that I'd measured properly though. The gorgeous Koi fabric is by Kona Bay. I'm very pleased with how it all turned out.
I recreated Saabfans Digital Bag End model in real bricks.
Their Bag End set reached 10k supportes on Lego Ideas, but was sadly not picked up to be produced as an offical set. One of my favorite Lego set of all time is the Unexpected Gathering set, and this one takes that to the max with wonderful details and visuals. I just had to build it.
Recreating it took many hours of work as there were many parts in the digital model that used colors that did not exist in real for those parts.
Please check out Saabfans Flickr and Twitter for more wonderful work:
The inside showing the cute flower print, a flat pocket for my scissors (and other things), and a gussetted pocket for holding my thread spools.
Big enough to hold a ball of wool and your knitting, or your current project!
Made from cordoroy, cotton prints, and wool batting from my own pattern, designed by eyeballing my favourite handbags and amalgamating all the features I loved the most.

an armee laundry bag ready to be upcycled into Lili Marleen bag

I love this bag, even if the size/lack of closure make it a little impractical. And this fabric is very forgiving. You can't even see the stitches.

Lindie Bag Pattern: craftapple.wordpress.com/2006/02/21/the-lindie-bag-free-p...
I just finished making my latest bag creation. I used some funky material designed by Marimekko, and some upcycled jeans. To see more pictures or read about details on how this bag came to be go to: www.gaijincreations.blogspot.com
