I bought this years ago when my sister and I were in Singapore for a shopping trip one summer. We were wandering around the mall that's connected to the hotel we always stay in, and stumbled across this Japanese place called "Kokon Tozai" that was selling bags, shoes, purses, and all sorts of accessories that were made of old kimono. Normally, I'd be horrified at the thought of using such beautiful kimono in that way, but they actually had a brochure that said that they were careful to make these out of unuseable kimono only ^^;;
My sister and I bought a bunch of stuff, and proceeded to visit all three outlets in Singapore. I can't remember the addresses and the names of the malls the first two were in (but they are places I frequent whenever I'm in Singapore) but the last one is in Changi airport, just at where the check-in counters are.
This is a realy cute design, and is very convenient for just throwing things in when you want to pop out to the store, or go out for a quick lunch. I love the purple colour XD
A shoulder bag with cut cloth squares. First I sewed 4 layers of cloth following the vertical and horizontal lines and then I cut them in X shape except the lst layer then placed it on the bigger jean part.

sitting in the back of my car. my mother gave me this bag. it was full of a bunch of OLD guitar strings that i will never use. maybe i should try to make them into something.
Look at this drop dead amazing bag. Jac_ is more than stylish. I can tell by her taste in fabrics and colors. It was such a pleasure to swap with you. I am sorry it has taken me so long to post the picture. I have been so busy using the bag that I have not stopped to photograph it.

A peak bagging group hikes in the Mokelumne Wilderness Area of the Eldorado National Forest, Pacific Southwest Region, California, May 13, 2023. The snowshoe hike is 21 miles roundtrip from the Tragedy Spring trailhead. The team left at 6 a.m. and returned safely to their vehicles at 11 p.m. The were able to summit Mokelumne Peak at 9,330-feet. (USDA Forest Service photos by Paul Wade)
