Inside the updated quilter's bag with more pockets than the original. I have since made another one for my mum and changed lots of things. I have also taught this twice at a quilt camp and hope to post some of the photos from those later.

Tohe is a social enterprise in Vietnam with a clear mission to provide a creative learning playground for disadvantaged children. Through creative arts classes, Tohe brings opportunities for children to play and learn in a different academic setting. Selected artworks from art classes has been selected, redesigned and used as prints for lifestyle products, branded under the name Tòhe. Products have been distributed both in Vietnam and internationally. Portion of profits are used to fund the creative class program & scholarship program for talented children. Tòhe also wants to demonstrate to these children that creative work as a potential career for those who are talented in these areas and that creative work also creates economic value and is becoming a new trend of international economy (creative economy)
In designing TOHE products we explore the innocent beauty, free coloring and infinite imagination of the paintings of children. Made from nature-friendly materials with simple but modern designs and child-like sensitivities, TOHE's products are unique. Moreover, the paintings of disadvantaged children reflect their optimism and love of life. This is the humane aspect of TOHE stories: difficulties and deprivations cannot hinder the spirit, the soul, the imagination.

Made from small balls of leftover cotton yarn and thrifted shirts. This is a little tote handy for those bits and bobs you need when you pop out.
This bag is nice. It is Crumpler's Western Lawn with the Photo Bucket inserted. What I like most about this bag is the Photo Bucket slips out and my photo bag become a sporty man purse.
A photographer friend of mine wanted a new bag she could use as well as purse as as professionnal bag. It had to be super handy but yet pretty (and girly).
I based the design and shape on my own messenger bag tutorial [http://madebynight.blogspot.com/2010/09/le-tuto-de-la-besace-fronceetutorial.html] but added a zippered closing and many zippered pockets inside and outside (for her cell phone, pens, SDcards, batteries, keys.... The strap legnth can be adjusted by a knot. To turn it into a photographer's bag, all she has to do is insert the matching padded 'fabric bin' with her camera and lenses.
As for the fabrics, the girly side comes from that Mitsy Liberty of London print and the steadyness comes from that beautiful jeans printed linen. The lace comes from a second hand store.
