As I'm up against a deadline I have decided to rework three pieces which have languished in a sketchbook for years.

There were three graffiti artists working in the alley way yesterday. Here's a collection of the tools of the trade of one of the young men.
This bag is a pink and grey chevron material. There are bags out there that look similiar to this one; however I did not use a pattern or a particular source in the construction. It has two pleats in the front, button closure, an adjustable strap and the inside has a small pocket. The bag was made for a little girl's birthday gift in September of this year.

Crocheted bag in cotton, lined with pink gingham that went into one of the shoeboxes my mother made for the 2011 Shoebox Appeal (I did boys, she did girls!)
Client sent printed piece of canvas, all Bob Marley pictures and song lyrics. Got more canvas and made the printed panel into a messneger bag.
I made this bag of recycled materials. The main body of the bag is a skirt that was too small. (Am I the only one who buys things a wee bit too small, hoping that if I just lose a tiny bit of weight, then it'll fit?). (This one makes a better bag than skirt anyways.) The strap is a karate belt. The front decoration is a page of a canvas book, painted and then embellished.

I've made this bag for a birthday present. Using the everyday tote from Lotta Jansdotter's book "Simple Sewing". But with some changes. I added a white lining fabric and also I did topstitched all around the finished bag.
The bow is a digital detail I added while making the scrapbook, lol...

I made this bag for myself using a pattern by Made by Rae - www.made-by-rae.com/2010/10/bonsai-bag-sewing-pattern.html - and some gorgeous Flower Sugar fabric by Lecien.
I got this bag a few months ago and i really love it. Mainly because it features clouds, glitter and very cute graphics. There are more graphics around the back of the bag too.

The coolest thing about this bag is that it is reversible! I made the other side using some fabric from Denyse Schmidt's Flea Market Fancy collection.
Hmmm...what to do with nearly full skeins of Berroco Comfort left over from crocheting adorable amis by Ana Paula Rimoli???? I know! Make an ami toy bag to hold them all! The bag is my own pattern, planned a little, partially made up as I went along. PM me if you want my notes on how I made it.
