I've made this bag for a birthday present. Using the everyday tote from Lotta Jansdotter's book "Simple Sewing". But with some changes. I added a white lining fabric and also I did topstitched all around the finished bag.
The bow is a digital detail I added while making the scrapbook, lol...

Made with less than two skeins of Lily Sugar N' Cream cotton yarn.
The Pattern is very simple and easy and I finished in only a few hours.

I don't know how practical a giant (8" on all sides) acorn bag for knitting really is, but I had the yarn in my stash and it was fast to make. The button was made from possibly the last squirrel fabric in my stash.
This is an easy tor to bag, just go to the top Haytor car park and walk the wrong way.
John Cleese used to be very good at walking the wrong way, but on NO account wear a bowler hat on Dartmoor. In the words of the song "It's not there now, the ground's all flat, and beneath it is the bloke in a bowler hat."
I've had these Polos in this bag for at least 6 years. Some of them more like 7.
A bunch of us used to play poker at lunchtime, with polos as betting chips.
This bag no longer smell like polos. It's rather nasty.

This is the inside of the bag. I used laminates for most of the outside & regular cottons for all of the inside. The lining fabric is Neptune by Tula Pink
My Mum made this bag for me with some of the fabric from The Scented Garden collection. The geometric designs are not actually in the collection, but a smaller version in another colourway is.
I love this bag because I made it out of some old jeans. It's great for a toiletry bag because it's really durable and washable too!
I found this pattern by Sayjai at kandjdolls for a crochet gift bag. I whipped this one up this weekend. Our packaged clothespin dolls fit perfect inside it.
Lolita's Lashes is a hand crafted piece by Japanese designers Prima Bag.
Layers of vintage lace and velvet ribbon add to the lolita goth style of this tote. Easily teamed with Marie Antoinette style, Lolita fashion or even funky street wear to add a splash of Victorian aesthetic.
One-of-a-kind. Made in Japan.
