A little bag I whipped up with an embroidery from Urban Threads. Inside is a package of loose tea that I wanted to dress up a bit more.
Hmmm...what to do with nearly full skeins of Berroco Comfort left over from crocheting adorable amis by Ana Paula Rimoli???? I know! Make an ami toy bag to hold them all! The bag is my own pattern, planned a little, partially made up as I went along. PM me if you want my notes on how I made it.

I took my brand-v bag I bought from riv and tried copying it. Not a perfect copy and I didn't feel like doing the zipper but it came out okay. I used a double layer of the lighter canvas but I am going to order some heavier stuff soon and try it with just a single layer.
I've had these Polos in this bag for at least 6 years. Some of them more like 7.
A bunch of us used to play poker at lunchtime, with polos as betting chips.
This bag no longer smell like polos. It's rather nasty.
This tote bag is the perfect size for carrying all kinds of things, or for use as a handbag or even a diaper bag. It is made from a floral cotton fabric that has a retro feel to it and lined with a burnt orange cotton fabric. The bag is also made with fusable interfacing to make it stronger and keep it's shape. The interior has a magnetic button closure and three interior pockets made with the contrasting floral fabric. The bottom comes with a removeable cardboard insert.
It is 12" wide
11" tall
3 1/2" deep
21" straps (about 9 1/2 inches from the shoulder)
Bag using strips of denim woven on a rigid heddle loom. Shoulder straps woven on an inkle loom. Completely lined.
I love this bag because I made it out of some old jeans. It's great for a toiletry bag because it's really durable and washable too!
I've been putting it off forever, but I finally (almost) finished packing my hospital bag. I have a few extra things I need to pick up and some toiletries I'll throw in at the last moment.
I woke up last night to some non-baby related pains, but it was enough to drive home the fact that any night could be "the night" and will need my bag to be ready.
I thought I share today how the diaper bag is coming along.
The handles are all knit up and lined with a fun hippo fabric. Next I will sew the timtex and the farbric into the bag to prevent it from collapsing.
And still need dowels to add some stability around the parts where the handles are attached.
This is so mcuh fun!
Crossbody bag i made last night. Did all the measurements and design myself. Has 5 outside pockets and one large inside zipper pocket plus shorter handle for carrying on your arm.

I strongly recommend making the straps shorter as they stretch *a lot*. A cute bag that will hold plenty.
