This bag explores wood: how noble trees grow and how they are processed. I have always loved old eastern wooden objects, their carvings and their look and feel. Watching aged trees makes me think how close they are their second life: to become a material well valued. This transformation is something I have tried to capture in this pouch.

The bottom of the bag is crocheted from estonian wool.
The middle part is knitted from estonian wool.
The top is sewn from cotton fabrics.
The string is knitted i-cord.

This bag has a feline theme. When making the bag I was thinking about the homes with cats. Is it something about cat owners or are they the cats that make them so comfortable!

A minimal rando bag (no back pockets, no front pocket) that will be mated to one of my practice front racks. All green fabric, and green tape; it will use a couple of snaps to hold the mapcase closed, and will have internal swift-style elastic retainer bands in place of the pockets. Lined w/ pale green ripstop, and pocketted for coroplast stiffeners (mandatory, since the elastic bands and the elastic bands on the front corners will want to squash the bag) and it will have swift-style corner hooks for the closure.
I made this purse yesterday from a homespun dress from Woolrich. It has a large outside pocket and red calico inside with a pocket.

This bag is inspired by sustainable living. It has a meadow where clovers grow and baby lambs run around. Isn't that every knitter's dream? Breeding sheep and producing wool!

Finally finished the Carpet Bag from Melanie Falick's "Handknit Holidays." I added a blue inside lining, and I'm in love.

A piece of assessed work for my City & Guilds course. This dodecahedron bag is made from 12 pentagonal pieces of constructed fabric joined with and insertion stitch. The bag is lined with light green silk crepe o provide a contrast.
this is for uni, a rebranding project with multiple choices, i chose no sweat, an ethical/organic clothing company. this is the bag i designed for the company, with inner print and added pattern tab.
all screen printed by my own hand, though i had some help with the sewing
the back of the bag with the little label had to be sewed on as i could only find a tope bag with a little print on the back so i had to cover that up otherwise i would of printed straight onto it :)
I made this bag 4 years ago using my unworn jeans and the handles from another bag. Sadly, until now I haven't had the time to write the instructions for this pattern. Maybe someday, I'll be able to complete this project.

Hi. I'm Jenny's gym bag. I've been sitting in this EXACT spot for the last week and a half. I'm waiting for Jenny to take me to the gym and quite frankly I'm getting bored. and dusty. I really hope she wakes her lazy butt up tomorrow morning to take me to the gym so I will feel like I've got purpose in this life.

The bag measures at 35cm wide by 48cm tall, with straps. A 100% cotton outside back pack/cinch sack and black cordura inside. There is one large main compartment and a inner pocket with a magnit. A great bag for carrying your sport shoose, school books or anything you need for a day at the beach. Just the right size for your laptop 15"6 too!

The bag that went to New Jersey on January 2nd - made from Ikeas retro-printed heavy cotton, silk velour and thick, smelly jute-bands for the handles. The large bead is from Berlin.
