This bag is made from Amy Butler's downtown purse pattern. The material is from 2 napkins that I fell in love with at Crate & Barrel. I embroidered the leaf chain on the flap with green and tan variegated thread to coordinate w/the bird and to counter-balance the busier purse fabric.
This is a large, chaotic pattern with repeating elements.
I chose the little "flower" to digitise and embroider.
I made pouches to coordinate with some of the recent tote bags I made with my easy tote bag tutorial.

Front view of my geocaching bag. It's a Maxpedition Lunada. I was first thinking about buying the Remora, but I'm glad I chose his bigger brother.
April 09 - Another Buttercup Bag - I could make a million of these (and just might). Used leftover bits from other projects (with plenty of scraps still to spare).

Finally getting round to thinking about the bag I will make! So I am thinking the Ruby Star Rising and the Cloud 9 for the main part of the bag with the red as lining and maybe some fussy cut labels from the vintagy fabric as detailing. Is this doing it for you yet partner?

Photos of a leather bag I made for my bicycle. I wanted something like this but couldn't find anything I liked. So I just made my own. I can hold a lock, my phone, wallet, or whatever. And it's thin enough it doesn't affect use of the bike.

The bag is attached to the B66's springs. The button snap on the strap doesn't fit through the saddle's bag mount. I could use straps from pedal clips, but this works great.
Not bad for ~$17 shipped.

This bag has an ethnic theme. I have been inspired by the old tibetan and chinese people. I have thought of snowy winters on the high mountains. The women living there have few things but they are treasured and carefully stored.
