My work bag. What gets moved from this into my weekend bag are keys, camera and purse. I'll take my iPod to the gym, but it lives in this bag.Other stuff like tissues, spare shopping bag and an emergency lippy are in my weekend bag. I took this with my phone camera as it's easier to upload!
Made of dark denim. The lighter contrast trim is just the reverse of the denim folded over to mimic a bias tape look. Took "Charlie Bag" pattern found on BurdaStyle website and modified it into a smaller purse with pockets instead of large reusable grocery bag.

This doctor's bag scene is a roombox I created out of my wish that I had gone to Medical School. My daughter Kelli is currently studying epidemiology so I may give this roombox to her when she graduates, but until then, it is mine. The doctor's bag itself was purchased from Shannon Moore who put in the window and door and lights. The first pic is of the Dr scene from the outside. The next two are the entire scene looking into the bag. Most of the furniture was made from taking apart Michael's hutches and remaking them into the 2 bookcases, an office cabinet and an examination table. There are many little medical items like vaseline, aspirin, cough syrup and cold tablets in the bookcase. I also have added medical tools like tweezers, a syringe, forceps, stethoscope, various scopes, medical books and lots of supplies like cotton balls, rubber gloves, ice pack, hot water bottle, tongue depressors and much more. Also look for the crutches, walker, scale, IV pole with extra doctor's jacket and stethoscope hanging up. On the exam table is a folded patient gown and otolaryngoscope with several xrays. The file cabinet has files of the Dr's many patients and there are a few xrays already being viewed on the light cabinet. I came back to my mom's place for only 5 days and that's what I carried in my makeup bag... I couldn't figure out why my purse was so heavy!

I'm always asking people to look in their bags cause ive always wanted to know what they put in it :)
i usually have more stuff in my bag but since its summer and there isnt school i dont carry much
but on Flickr a lot of people do this :) it cures my curiosity!

My granddaughter's old Christmas stocking is much too babyish for a ten year old, so I put together this quick little bag from jeans leftovers from other bag projects I've been doing. After she empties all the Christmas goodies, she'll have a fun little bag.
I hope she likes the skullie lining as much as I do.
This bag is made from Patons Moonglow. It's quite a fuzzy and splitty yarn, not the easiest to crochet with, but the colours are good and I like the size. I didn't use a pattern but might try to replicate it in another, less bobble-prone, yarn.

What's in the bag? Saw how someone organized their bag, and it totally solved what to do with the 70-200, since it's always sorta been in the way. Move it to the side! Ingenious!
I completed the Jane Market Bag made with Soirée by Lila Tueller. I know I am late to the Jane Market Bag party, but better late than never! I can't say enough about this pattern! This will absolutely become a "go to" pattern when a quick gift is needed. This is one big bag :o)
I did make a few modifications such as putting a pocket inside instead of on the back, and adding trim to the tops of the pockets. I also used Pellon 809 iron-on interfacing on the lining to give the bag structure.

This was a really neat little shopping bag with a bottom that is used to store the bag when it's not being used. anyone have a pattern for it?
This modern bag is made with Kona cottons and quilted heavily in purposely not straight lines with red Aurafil thread.

Empied my bag because this morning in the bus when i drove around a very bendy roundabout my coke fell over and even though it landed in a vertical position, was upside down and succeeding in making the bottom of my bag drink nearly the whole can, so I decided to snap this premature baby, usually get loads more than this out of a bag, got the bag before this one to empty and shoot but it'll have to wait i get a day off, and hopefully before the hot weather comes

So heres my bag for the whats in my bag group. This is tomorrows bag. When I did this it reminded me of that bit in Pink Floyd The Wall where Bob Geldof goes mad.
If you haven't seen it, he smashes all of his shit up and then meticulously lines it all up in his living room. I haven't shaved my head or my eyebrows off though.

There was a shop with African textiles near where I lived a year ago and I made this bag from these lovely fabrics. I still have it but it has become seriously dirty and I am too bored to wash it. I liked photographing it as well. This is the back side.
Large Hobo Bag with flower button to keep in your goodies. Big needle crochet makes it breathable, stretchy, and washable (cold water and hang it dry, I can't imagine what the inside of my dryer would look like after this rolls around a few times!!!) Great for the farmers market, grocery store, pool, beach or yoga class.
I've gotten a lot of questions since I started carrying a Japanese box lunch (bento) to work every day, so I thought that I would share the contents of my lunch bag.
Instead of using paper gift bags I like to make fabric bags and my children's little friends seem to like them a lot more.
I made a gift tag using layers of fabric and paper.
I finally had to break down and buy another bag. I've been using just my backpack and suitcase on the bottom-left until now. When I packed up in Kuala Lumpur it was nearly bursting at the seams and my backpack weighed something like 14 kg. I've done so much shopping in Hong Kong that I won't be able to pack it all in. Buying an Xbox 360 today was the tipping point. So, I bought a cheap (€20) bag you see on the right. It's some cheap Chinese thing but it seems all right. Can be used as a duffel bag or dragged on roller wheels by an extendible handle, so it will be all right. Now I have more space for more stuff! I'll probably get some new shoes next.
