Left part without grass, and right part with grass. That's because of my dogs, that stay at the left part, haha.
And well, that trampoline has at least 6 years.
The scientific name of this plant is Prunus x cistena. Apparently the fruit is edible, but I've never tried eating it.
Backyard visitors in San Francisco. Yes, we have wild flocks of parrots here; they apparenty love the climate, though one wonders what they think of our chilling fogs. These dropped by my neighbor's yard for a snack then mine for a drink.

Well, here's my backyard tree, an E nicolli (I think), along with it's resident mistletoe.
Along with my own mess (not just to make geoff feel better) ;)
I planted this one, probably 20 years ago now (sheesh). It's in the wrong place (the north side of the yard), but it still provides great shade for the yard in the summer. Often have BBQs under it, and usually there's a swing set centre shot as well.
Kallisto (father) and Phobos (son) on regular inspection of our backyard. Such snow fall is quite unusual on Long Island, happens once a winter.
