Pattern: Duck Soup by annypurls

Yarn: Patons Cotton Chunky & Patons UK Moorland DK ( for toggles)

Needles: US 8- 5.0 mm

What a clever little design from annypurls! I'am so pleased with the results.

The built in hood and hood cord are such cute additions to the jacket as are the knitted button toggles. I followed the pattern for 12- months and it turned out perfect! I even used the provisional cast on, which I highly recommend, as seaming is not my most favourite thing to do.

Banff Gondola building from the other side.

Seen during the ForgottenChicago.com Industrial Might & Architectural Surprises Bus Tour: "No visit to the Calumet Region would be complete without a visit to the site of the former Woodmar Shopping Center in Hammond, which opened in 1954. While the shopping mall portion of this complex was demolished in 2006, the unique five-sided Carson Pirie Scott still stands, at least for now." You can see in the photo where the mall was attached to the Carson's. Many of the building interior details (lighting, railings, clocks, etc.) have not been replaced since the 80's, at least. Weird place, but not in a bad way.

I should of name this photo.."Baby Got Back'...

"VBC 1889" can be read on the t-shirt of the man on the left. It can't be "Volleyball Club" since the game was not known yet in 1889 (afaik). "C" must be "Club" and "B" probably stands for "Bremen".

On the backside is an elaborated stamp which reads "Carl W. Spohler Jr. - Amateur Photograph, Bremen"
