Here is an example of a public space in a Wright house. Granted, it's bigger than most, but the Johnson family had more money than most. Notice the floors are nice and shiny. Dad brought his work home it seems.

By the time I made a roundabout way of going to Malton from York via Whitby, I'd missed the last shuttle bus from Malton to Castle Howard. Well, why rush now? May as well take some bus photos before hailing a taxi to Castle Howard.

I believe the buses are known as Volvo (chasis) with Wright Eclipse body (single decker), the double-decker body appropriately is called the Wright Eclipse Gemini!

Someone please corrects me if I'm wrong.
